In late 2015, Bathurst Regional Council released a tender for the design, installation and commissioning of a 100 kWp photovoltaic (PV) solar power system to be installed at the Bathurst Waste Water Treatment Works in West Bathurst. After a thorough tender process, Epho Pty Ltd was selected as the contractor for the works. Epho worked closely with the Council and the pre-tender consultant during the design stage, and pro-actively managed the planning and organisation of the installation. Epho then efficiently executed the installation and commissioning, in compliance with the requirements of the tender, whilst working closely with the staff at the Waste Water Treatment Works to ensure that there was minimal disruption to the plant’s operations. It was important for the Council that Epho was an efficient, reliable, transparent and professional Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) company. Mayor Gary Rush officially opened the solar system in front of the local media.
